The programme
CyberASAP (the Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) is a UK government-funded programme. It helps research teams turn cyber security innovation into commercial products, taking promising ideas through validation and proof of concept to a showcase for investors and industry.
The challenge
Attacks are increasingly automated and adaptive. Traditional honeypots are static and predictable, so experienced attackers can spot them and avoid them, which limits the intelligence they collect.
Our approach
We developed honeypots powered by artificial intelligence: decoys that respond realistically, adapt to the attacker and keep them engaged longer. The result is better insight into attacker behaviour, gathered safely away from real assets.
The outcome
The project was completed successfully and led directly to the founding of 11AI. The expertise we built in AI and cyber deception now shapes how we approach the security of robotic systems in OmniCore.
